Today is the 1st day of 2010. I turn 55 this year, I will have been married 34 years. My oldest son will be 29 and my youngest will turn 26. I will have lived in this same house for 28 years. My little sister will have been deceased for 12, my older brother for 36, my Mom 2 years. I miss them everyday. I am blessed I have a wonderful oldest brother, and my Dad as well as my sons, husband and in laws this including a beautiful daughter in law and my brothers wife, many cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many wonderful close friends. Everyone a true blessing in my life.
I think this year I would like to write my goals out here. I usually do not make resolutions but I do like to make a few goals to get myself motivated to do.
1st would be to be better organized, my Dad has recently remarried so I will need to go thru much of my Moms stuff. I need to be strong about letting go of much of this. This stuff is not my Mom so I need to learn to let it go. Which means being organized, not bringing stuff home I will not use or need. Organization!!!
2nd and this is a goal every year and I do this consistantly and that is to walk my dogs. Not really a goal but something I do like to do and in the process I get lots of good exercise, maybe a bit more would be good as well.
3rd I really want to do more of my own quilting. I found a box in my shed this past week putting Christmas stuff away. It is full of un quilted quilt tops. Lots I could quilt and give away. Lots that I would just like to have finished.
4th Do more with my embrodiery machine, even more free motion. this would include a long promised dragon quilt for my brother.
I hope to check most of these off before the end of this 2010. If I do we will start from scatch next year if not, just put them back on that list.
My hope is to have a wonderful 2010 just as good as 2009 and I will be happy.
